Add it to your travel notebook

The carnival of Almaden is a tradition that started in 1720, and it has become of Regional Touristic Interest. During these days, the street mask, the ‘murga’, the ‘estudiantinas’ and the ‘comparsas’ walk the streets of the city. Besides, there is a contest of ‘comparsas’ (that are cultural groups that participate in the carnival) that is available for everyone who wants to participate in.
