Among all the processions, the one that highlights the most is ‘El Prendimiento de Jesús’, which takes place during the morning of Holy Thursday, other thing that is important too is the Via Crucis that takes place during the night of Holy Wednesday. The Via Crucis goes through the streets of this city processing the sculpture of ‘Jesús del Huerto’, which was made by ‘La Hermandad de Jesús de Nazareno’. Besides the processions of Holy Thursday and Holy Friday cause a great interest between the inhabitants and tourists.
The Holy Week of this city has the prestige of being declared of National Touristic Interest, because is included in the ‘Ruta de la Pasión de Calatrava’.
